Journal Series: August 2021

Ever since I began sharing my own experience with journaling on @kalewithcail, I’ve wanted to share the power of scribing our goals, experiences, and streams of consciousness with this community. Journaling is cathartic; it is a beautiful, free, therapeutic outlet, and beginning the practice of journaling is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself.

That being said, I know journaling can be intimidating. Sometimes our aversion to journaling comes from a discomfort with expressing our emotions or being so candid with ourselves, and other times it’s a matter of just hating your handwriting and wishing it looked prettier (in which case, typing it out is always an option). Regardless of what has been keeping you from your journaling practice, I encourage you to start off your August on an intentional foot and engage with these prompts.

Remember, nobody else is reading your answers. You’re doing this for YOU.
